What inspires me:

“I feel very connected to the people here. They're just a really wonderful group of brilliant people just working together to try to help make the world a better place.”

“We have people from all over the world. We cover about 60 different languages, and most of those people are in Content Operations.”

How my work has an impact:

“My scientists and myself really understand the value of our work. We believe in the mission that we are truly helping scientists to innovate and create and help the world by making discoveries through our database.”

“It’s motivational to come in every day and do a good job and support my scientists with whatever they need to ensure that we provide the best content that we can to help drive some of the world's innovations. It is something I'm really proud of.”

What I value at CAS:

“I think CAS is a really supportive place to grow. They give you a voice.”

“We have many diversity celebrations. We have a big fest for Diwali. Lunar New Year is a big celebration here, and the Asian American and Pacific Islander Month is just a month of lots of parties and things happening.”

“We have so many events beyond work. You have many community engagement opportunities, clubs, and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues outside of work.”

“You can really find a place here and people who are here to support you to reach your goals and ambitions in your career.”

“I have spent all my career at CAS in content operations. It's a really great department to land. The management team partners with you to look for development opportunities, support initiatives, or projects. I really got some experiences during my career that helped me make the transition into management. I became a front-line manager about four years ago in the same department. It was completely different from my life sciences background, so I had to learn a little bit. My team really helped me. We are a very collaborative community.”
