A Review of Materials Research for a Green Hydrogen Economy

Many technologies have been researched with an eye toward enabling a hydrogen economy. In the field of hydron utilization in fuel cells, numerous materials have been created to target higher efficiencies and applications.

This peer reviewed publication details the progress of hydrogen energy research from 2011 to the latest emerging trends. The primary elements of this study are catalyst materials that allow the green production of hydrogen and materials used in technical capacities in relation to fuel cells.
